Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings women's tennis team (3-5) ran into the red-hot Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County (5-1) on Monday (9/25), and lost in an 8-1 final. The Vikings #2 doubles team of Beth Wittek and Rachel Hess had the lone Ocean win of the day, picking up an 8-6 victory against RCGC's Nicole Andeacchio and Haley Kircher. The loss drops the Vikings' record to 3-5 overall (2-4 in the conference).

The Vikings will return to action on Wednesday, September 27, when they host Bucks County CC in a 3:30 p.m. match.
