Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College women's tennis team concluded their regular season on the road, with a 6-3 loss on Monday (10/2) to Brookdale Community College. The Vikings #2 doubles team of Beth Wittek and Rachel Hess won their match against Brookdale's Hailey Johnson and Grace Meyer, by an 8-4 score, and Wittek and Alexis Banfield each won their singles matches as well. The loss drops the Vikings' record to 4-7, with a 2-6 record in the Garden State Athletic Conference. The Region XIX Playoffs, hosted by Ocean County College, will commence on Friday, October 6 at 2:30 p.m. with teams still to be announced.
