Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings women's volleyball team played a great game, but ultimately fell short to the visiting Spartans of Northampton Community College, by a 3-0 margin (25-12, 25-13, 25-15). Samantha Allen led the team as the setter and Gianna Addalli was the Vikings' lead defensive player, in the position of libero. Defensively the Vikings made adjustments with each game, but were outmatched.
The Vikings next play the Bergen Bulldogs at 3 p.m., in the third and final game of the tri-match.
