Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings mounted a major comeback to defeat GSAC opponent Raritan Valley Community College, 3-2 on Tuesday (9/20). After losing to the Golden Lions 25-21 and 25-17 in the first two games, the Vikings rallied in games 3 and 4, with 25-22 and 25-18 victories before easily dispatching Raritan, 15-7 in the fifth and final game. The win improves the Vikings record to 6-3 for the season, with 5 of their wins coming against conference opponents.
The Vikings return to the court on Thursday, September 21 when they travel to Union County College for a 6 p.m. match.
