Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings women's volleyball team (13-3) won their ninth consecutive match on Tuesday night (10/3), courtesy of a 3-0 sweep at Rowan College at Gloucester County. The Vikings came out strong, with serving runs by Samantha Allen, Erin Dellane, and Amanda Irwin. Libero Gianna Addalli was consistent on digging and passing, enabling Allen to set up Ocean's key hitters, Dellane, Pascal El-Khouri, Irwin, and Dionna Gonnella. Freshman Jacqueline Ferro saw some action defensively, and contributed to the team's 25-5, 25-16, and 25-12 sweep of the Roadrunners.
The Vikings' next matches will be as part of a Tri-Match hosted by OCC on Saturday, October 7. They will face Middlesex County College and Lehigh Carbon Community College through the course of the afternoon, with the first game beginning at 12 p.m.
