Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Volleyball (5-1) won their 4th straight game on Thursday (9/13) in a 3-1 conference win against visiting Brookdale Community College. After coming out of a close first set, Ocean freshman Samantha Rose went on a 13-service run with 4 aces. Rose also had 21 assists in the game. Freshman Taylor Jackson and sophomore Pascal El-Khouri contributed 8 kills each. Although falling to the Jersey Blues in the third set, the Vikings came back hard in the fourth with a great effort from all players.
The Vikings next travel to Bergen Community College on Saturday, September 15 for an exciting tri-match against Bergen and County College of Morris, with the action beginning at 12 p.m.
