Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Volleyball traveled to Northampton Community College to take on the perennial Region XIX powerhouse Spartans, and fell in four sets, 3-1. Ocean sophomore team captains Pascal El-Khouri and Gianna Addalli performed well, with strong net play and digs. Freshmen Ashley Stickle and Jenna Kulinski also impressed with effective kills, but the Vikings were ultimately undone by service and reception errors, mistakes that can be costly when facing a tough team such as Northampton.
The Vikings next welcome conference opponent Union County College to Toms River on Tuesday, September 25th for a 7 p.m. matchup.
