OCC Women's Volleyball Splits Versus RCSJ Gloucester, Northampton CC

Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Volleyball split two matches at home on Saturday (10/1), defeating the RCSJ Gloucester Roadrunners, 3-0, and falling to the Northampton Community College Spartans by the same measure.

MATCH 1: OCC swept the Roadrunners 25-6, 25-5, and 25-9 to begin the afternoon. Sophomore Chrysta Robertson had a fantastic defensive game, making 13 digs, while Katelyn Reilly's 15 kills and 15 digs greatly contributed to the quick sweep. 

MATCH 2: The Vikings slipped to an overall record of 7-3 after falling to the Spartans of Northampton Community College in match 2, 25-21, 25-16, and 25-15. Chrysta Robertson once more led the way defensively with 15 digs, while Alexa McEwan performed well in service, and landed 5 kills. Anastasia Gangemi-Berger made 13 digs and scored 5 points in the loss.

The Vikings return to action on Monday, October 3, when they travel to Raritan Valley Community College for a 7 P.M. matchup against the Lions.
