Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Women's Volleyball won their 3 consecutive match via shutout following a 3-0 sweep of Union College of New Jersey on Wednesday (9/25).
The 1st set of this match was punctuated by strong service from Ocean freshman rightside hitter Tara Charland, with aggressive swings from sophomore middle hitter Jordan Motyka. Jordan, a Toms River South graduate, had a strong match overall, leading the Vikings' effort with 14 points, along with 7 kills and 5 digs. OCC sophomore Rhianon Wohlrab shined tonight as well, with key sets in the 2nd set that allowed the Vikings to power through to lock in the sweep, while sophomore middle hitter Abby Szuba continued her fantastic play of late, with a 12-point, 11-kill effort.
