Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings baseball team was swept in their doubleheader against Rowan College at Gloucester County on Wednesday (3/8), losing the first game 21-2, and the second 10-5. The Vikings' pitching was their downfall, as their staff walked a combined 15 batters and surrendered 36 hits over the two contests. Offensive standouts for the Vikings were sophomore outfielders Tyler Kay, who had 2 hits and 3 RBI, and Nick D'Arcy, also with 2 hits, and 1 run batted in.
The Vikings next travel to Dundalk Community College this Saturday for a doubleheader, before heading home on Sunday for a doubleheder with Rockland Community College.
