Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings baseball team arrived in Myrtle Beach, SC on Monday (3/20) for a series of six games at The Ripken Experience, a one-of-a-kind baseball complex that routinely hosts teams from across the country. Their first game was against Hudson Valley Community College, and the Vikings picked up a 5-0 victory. Pitcher Matt Malatesta threw a complete game shutout, allowing just four hits and walking one. Andrew Slinger hit a home run and drove in two runs, and Matt Corsi slugged a double and added an RBI in the win.
