Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Baseball team continued their winning ways on Friday with a critical victory over archrival Brookdale Community College by a final score of 7-6 on Friday.
Vikings sophomore pitcher Drew Zytko won his 7th game on the mound, battling through 8 tough innings before being relieved in the 9th by Nick Moglia, who came in for the save. Freshman Andrew Slinger collected a double and triple, and drove in 3 runs, while Mike Calabrese also doubled and drove in a run in the win.
The Vikings next host Brookdale on Saturday (4/29) in a home doubleheader.
