Toms River, NJ - OCC Baseball finished their Myrtle Beach trip on a hot streak, sweeping their doubleheader on Thursday (3/21).
Game 1 - Ocean avenged an earlier loss by defeating Sullivan CC by the score of 5-4. Sophomore Don Zellman appeared in relief in the 7th inning to record the win, while Kyle Lauria continued on his torrid pace, hitting a home run to tie, and then stealing home with the game-winning run in the 7th.
Game 2 - The Vikings defeated Garrett College by a score of 12-11. Once again, Kyle Lauria performed well, hitting 2-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Dylan Beyer belted a home run and drove in 2 runs, and Matt Sullivan went 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs in the victory.
The Vikings, who now stand at 9-2 overall, return to action on Sunday, March 24th, when they head to Bucks County CC for a 12 p.m. doubleheader.
