Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Baseball continues to play solid baseball - following its 18-6 win over Bergen CC in Lyndhurst, NJ on Monday (4/1). Led by flawless defense and a strong pitching performance by sophomore left-hander Luke Corcoran, the Vikings continue to improve as they approach the mid-point of the season.
Offensively the Vikings continued to display strong offensive performances by Tom DeMarco (3-5), Carl Barth (3-4), and Ryan Ushock (2-4 with 3 RBI). OCC freshman shortstop Kyle Kolans also picked up 3 RBI, along with a strong defensive performance as well.
The Vikings next look to enter a tough weekend with a 3-game series with the nationally-ranked #1 Roadrunners of RCSJ Gloucester on Friday, April 6 at home, followed by a doubleheader at Gloucester on April 7.
