Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Men's Basketball slipped to an overall record of 1-3 following an 83-64 road loss to Union County College on Tuesday (December 7).
Ocean freshmen Bryan Potter, Wesley Deitch, and Josh Kline turned in standout performances this evening, with Bryan leading team scoring with 18 points, Wes pulling down 7 rebounds and dropping 10 points, and Josh grabbing 7 steals in the loss.
"The guys played tough in a difficult environment on the road," remarked OCC Men's Basketball Assistant Coach Evan Andariese. "Potter and Deitch were very impressive. They brought their contributions to the next level, so we're excited to see that continue. Our shots just weren't falling, but we're back at it on Thursday in our home gym, where we know that'll change."
The Vikings return to action on Thursday, December 9, when they welcome conference rival Brookdale Community College to campus for a 5 P.M. matchup.
