Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball picked up their 5th win of the season following a 72-50 victory at Harrisburg Area Community College on Friday (1/5).
With inclement weather forcing the Vikings to compete on back-to-back nights, every active player on the roster was called upon to contribute tonight, and the call was answered. OCC freshman guard Robert Giovine was red hot in his 22 minutes of play, scoring a team-high 13 points in the win.
"Great bounce back against a gritty Harrisburg team," stated OCC Men's Basketball Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "The guys put together a true team win with all 17 contributing. Rob Giovine was outstanding, scoring 13 with 5 rebounds, and most impressively, taking 3 charges. Looking forward to an important week ahead."
The Vikings return to the court on Thursday, January 11, when they travel to RCSJ Cumberland for a 7 P.M. matchup versus the Dukes.
