Antoniotti Powers OCC Golf to Best Team Score of Season at Pitman GC

Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Golf Team placed 2nd overall for the second time this season yesterday (4/25) at the RCSJ Gloucester Roadrunner Invitational, held at Pitman Golf Course in Sewell, NJ. The Vikings, led by sophomore and first year player Phil Antoniotti, finished runner-up to their hosts with a season's best total of 368 strokes. Antoniotti had a birdie and carded a best 41 on the front nine en route to his season's best round of 84 to tie for 2nd along with RCSJ Gloucester's Freddie Ramos and Tyler Geatens. Ocean sophomore Josh Kerley chipped in with two more birdies of his very own to card a top 10 score of 88. Sophomore Dane Bodziak had a birdie as well, and contributed with teammates Matt Heberling and Eduardo Rojas. Rojas shot his season's low 117 in the 2nd place effort.

The Vikings finished the 2022 spring regular season with two 2nd place finishes and three 3rd place showings.
