Toms River, - OCC Men's Tennis lost their 2nd match of the season in a 6-0 home defeat to Mercer County Community College.

Ocean's 2nd doubles team of Dylan Torres and Jared Ericksen came closest to breaking the shutout, in an 8-4 defeat, but Mercer proved too much to overcome, capitalizing on missed opportunities for Ocean to seize momentum.

"We demonstrated better play quality overall from last match, but we need to close games at deuce," remarked OCC Men's Tennis Head Coach Dallas Medeiros. "A large number of deuces didn't go our way. We need to work on our consistency."

The Vikings return to the court on Friday, April 8, when they welcome the Jersey Blues of Brookdale Community College to campus for a 12 P.M. match.
