Toms River, NJ - The Vikings women's basketball team lost to Middlesex County College by a final score of 69-61. After a tough 10-point deficit in the first quarter, the Vikings roared back to cut Middlesex's lead to 3 in the fourth quarter, but came up just short as the game's final seconds ticked away.
Leading the Viking attack was Courtney Hagaman, who scored 26 points, 18 of which were tallied in the third quarter. Also contributing were Shaniece Hardy with 19 points, and Nicole Gardner with 10 points.
The Vikings will look to redeem themselves on Tuesday (12/6) at 5pm, when they host Rowan College at Burlington County.
