Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Women's Basketball took their 7th loss of the season in an 82-20 loss at Rowan College of Gloucester County on Thursday (12/13). Ocean had a difficult time on both ends of the court, with turnovers and a lack of cohesion on offense playing major roles in the game's final outcome.
"We are really having a tough season this year," remarked OCC Head Coach Avery Hodgson-Walters. "RCGC forced 29 turnovers, and our missed free throws really set us back."
Ocean freshman Kailee Kelly led the team with 8 rebounds, while freshmen Simi Clapman had 5 steals, and Kyarra Williams scored a team-high 11 points.
The Vikings will return to action on Saturday, December 15th when they host Lehigh Carbon Community College in a 2 p.m. tip-off.
