Women's Basketball Blasts Past Northampton CC, 78-63

Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball (7-2) won their third straight game (and 4th in last 5) in a 78-63 home victory on Saturday (12/14) against the visiting Spartans of Northampton Community College.

Ocean sophomore Molly Collins had an exceptional game, scoring 26 points while picking up 3 steals and dishing out 4 assists. Freshman Allie Toth followed up her 21-point performance on Thursday with a 16-point effort, while freshman Haley Ocskasy's 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals marked another solid all-around game for the Forked River native. Sophomore Shaunna Bruker made the most of her 28 minutes on the court (she exited early due to foul trouble), with an 18-point, 22-rebound afternoon that helped push Ocean into the win column for the 7th time.

The Vikings return to the court on Tuesday, December 17th, when they host conference rival Atlantic Cape Community College for a 5 p.m. tip-off.
