Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Women's Basketball dispatched GSAC rival Brookdale Community College, 89-61 on Thursday night, securing their 12th overall win of the season.
Ocean sophomore Shaunna Bruker had an excellent game on both ends of the court, with a 30-point, 25-rebound night (including 14 defensive boards), while Molly Collins scored 20 and dished out 5 assists in a game that was deadlocked at 14 after the first 10 minutes of play. Freshmen Haley Ocskasy and Hannah Wagner each scored 12, and Nikki Lozito added a personal-best 10 points (and 7 rebounds) to secure the victory for the Vikings.
The ladies return to the court on Saturday, February 1st, when they welcome the Skylanders of Sussex County CC to campus for a 12 p.m. GSAC matchup.
