Toms River, NJ - After a long year away due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ocean County College Women's Basketball returned to the court on Thursday (Nov. 18) for their 2021-22 home opener versus the Roadrunners of RCSJ - Gloucester. The Vikings were put on their proverbial heels early, falling to Gloucester in a 75-37 final.
Ocean sophomore Nikki Lozito led Viking scoring with a 17 point effort, while freshman Jordan Viggiano's 15 rebounds led the team in the category. Freshman Kayla Milligan was aggressive on offensive, driving hard to contribute 9 points in the tough Ocean loss.
The Vikings will regroup and return to action on Saturday, November 20 when they host Sussex County Community College for a 12 P.M. conference matchup.
