Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball's 1st win of the season continues to elude them, as the Vikings slipped to 0-13 overall in a 72-45 home loss to the Blue Colts of Middlesex College.
Ocean freshman Jordan Viggiano led Viking scoring with a 33-point, 10-rebound afternoon, while freshman Nicole Garrabrants imposed her will in the paint, pulling down a personal-best 16 rebounds. Viggiano currently ranks in the national top 10 in points-per-game (4th, 21.8), total points (4th, 284), rebounds-per-game (6th, 13), and total rebounds (9th, 169). Ocean sophomore Nikki Lozito scored 8 points and dished out 7 assists in the loss.
The Vikings return to action on Thursday, January 27, when they head to proverbial crosstown rival Brookdale Community College for a 7 P.M. GSAC battle against the Jersey Blues.
