Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball freshman Jordan Viggiano scored 45 points on 14 for 42 shooting in Ocean's 67-54 loss to Bergen Community College on Tuesday (2/1). Jordan's scoring performance was the 2nd highest single-game total in OCC Women's Basketball history, topped only by Courtney Hagaman's 48 point game on 1/19/17. Freshman Nicole Garrabrants was an imposing defensive presence in the paint as well, pulling in 22 rebounds in the loss. The Vikings led the Bulldogs by 20 points early on, but were undone by injury in the 2nd half, and were forced to play with just 4 active players on the court.
The Vikings return to action on Thursday, February 10, when they visit Sussex County CC for a 6 P.M. matchup.
