Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball (0-16) finished their 2021-22 season with an 80-47 loss at home to the Community College of Philadelphia Lions on Saturday (2/12).
Ocean forward Jordan Viggiano led the charge for the Vikings, scoring 27 while pulling down 13 rebounds and snatching 6 steals in the loss. Jordan finishes the season having earned a double-double in 12 of the team's 16 games. Nicole Garrabrants and Nikki Lozito each brought in 9 rebounds as well.
The Vikings worked hard for wins that ultimately eluded them this season, usually with just 5 active players. Their dedication throughout this long season was extremely admirable. Onward to 2022-23.
