Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Basketball snapped a 5-game winless streak with a 44-37 victory versus the visiting Lions of Community College of Philadelphia on Saturday (12/9). The win marked the 2nd in the last 3 seasons for the Vikings.

OCC sophomore Alexis Scully led Ocean's scoring effort, with 15 points scored on 5 3-point shots, while tying Cara Cribbin and Anastasia Gangemi with a team-leading 7 rebounds each in the win. Freshman Ashanti Boothe had a strong outing as well, scoring 10 points while pulling in 6 rebounds.

The Vikings will look to earn another win on Thursday, December 14, when they host the Mighty Oaks of Salem Community College in 7 P.M. Region 19 play.
