Biele Scores 2 as OCC Women's Soccer Shuts Out Monroe College (Bronx), 4-0

Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Soccer picked up their third straight shutout victory in a 4-0 win against visiting Monroe College (Bronx) on Saturday (9/14).

Ocean controlled the ball for most of the contest, peppering Monroe goaltender Julia Hermoso with shots (she made 28 saves on the day). Vikings sophomore Julianna Biele broke the match's scoreless tie with her 3rd goal of the season, a blast with 14:08 remaining in the first half. She was followed soon after by freshman Dallas Rowley, who put Ocean up by 2 at the 8:21 mark, with Biele adding her second goal of the day with under 5 minutes remaining in the 1st half. The score would remain 3-0 in Ocean's favor until Danielle Kaiser added the Vikings' final goal for the day, at 74.25.

With three shutouts in three games this season, the Vikings will look to keep their streak intact when they head to Raritan Valley CC for a 4:30 p.m. conference matchup.
