OCC Women's Soccer Loses Double OT Battle to Montgomery County CC, 5-4

Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Women's Soccer slipped to an overall record of 2-4 in a tough 5-4 loss in double overtime to the visiting Mustangs of Montgomery County CC.

Ocean freshman forward/midfielder Julianna Rettino made her presence felt for the Vikings, scoring 2 goals in what was her 2nd game of the season, while Corinne Heinert and Denise Bautista also contributed scores in this hard-fought match. Defensively, OCC goalkeeper Emily Hester made 3 saves on 8 shots in the loss.

The Vikings return to action on Thursday, October 7, when they travel to RCSJ Cumberland to take on the Dukes in a 4:00pm conference showdown.
