Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Soccer improved to an undefeated 4-0 overall record to start the season, following a 7-0 defeat of the visiting Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape CC.
Taking the field with 10 players, the club status Bucs found themselves overwhelmed early and often by an attacking Viking offense, with freshman forward Leilani Borges and sophomore defense/forward Rory Hagen scoring 2 goals each, while freshman midfielder Katherin Munoz continued her excellent play this season, supplying a goal and 2 assists in the contest. Sophomores Natalie Christie and Alyssa Duff also supplied scores in this lopsided matchup.
The Vikings will look for their 5th consecutive win on Thursday, September 26, when they travel to Brookdale CC for a 4 P.M. GSAC derby.
