Toms River, NJ - Answering the call to start just minutes before 1st pitch, sophomore right hander Ryan Preston turned in the best pitching performance of his Ocean career on April 27, scattering 9 hits through 7 innings to earn a complete game 6-5 win against top-ranked Northampton Community College. Ryan has proven to be dependable in high pressure situations, and is frequently called upon by Coach McRae to get the Vikings out of trouble.
OCC Baseball next takes the field on Saturday, May 11, when they travel to Brookdale CC to compete in the 2024 NJCAA Region 19 Championship tournament.
