Andrade Named to All-Tournament Team, Vikings Finish Fifth in Nation with 3-2 Win over Bunker Hill CC at NJCAA Nationals

Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College sophomore Andrew Jozwicki scored two goals and Doug Jensen added his 21st of the season as the Vikings topped Boston, MA's Bunker Hill Community College by a 3-2 final score in the consolation round of the 2017 NJCAA D-III Men's Soccer Championship tournament. Ocean, who took top-ranked Richland College to the final seconds of overtime a day prior in the tournament, were put on their heels early, with Bunker Hill scoring in the match's 7th minute to put the Bulldogs ahead 1-0, but Andrew Jozwicki added an unassisted equalizer at the 30 minute mark, and then scored the go-ahead goal (assisted by Doug Jensen) in the match's 69th minute, lifting Ocean to a 2-1 lead. Jensen returned to the scoring sheet in the 77th minute, adding what became the game-winner in Ocean's 3-2 victory. Upon the conclusion of the game, Vikings goalkeeper Robert Andrade was named to the NJCAA All-Tournament team.

The Vikings finish their 2017 campaign with a record of 10-9-2, and are Region XIX Champions. Congratulations to both players and coaches on a wonderful season.
