Toms River, NJ - The Region 19-leading OCC Vikings men's soccer team raised their overall record to 8-1 in a 3-1 road win at Raritan Valley Community College.
The Golden Lions struck first, establishing an early 1-0 lead before the Vikings returned fire with goals from Johnny Hart (assisted by Giovanni Hernandez), Aniello Lubrano (assisted by Nathan Szwed and Kristian Talas), and Dane Bodziak (assisted by Aniello Lubrano). Aniello currently ranks 6th in the nation in both goals (12) and total points (28).
Viking goalkeeper Shane Cramer was solid on the day, recording 6 saves in the match. Cramer has allowed just 2 goals in Ocean's last 3 matches.
After 2 consecutive road matches, the Vikings next return home to host the Jersey Blues of Brookdale Community College on Saturday, October 9 at 2pm in what is sure to be an exciting local derby.
