Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings women's soccer team brought their record up to 2-2 with a thrilling 1-0 victory over visiting Cumberland County College. The Vikings controlled much of the game offensively, forcing Dukes goalie Daleishka Torres to make 15 stops on the afternoon, but Vikings freshman Kristyn Adams's goal in the match's 81st minute brought a roar to both the home crowd and the Vikings' bench alike, with Ocean holding on through the match's final minutes to secure the victory.
The Vikings will look to move their win/loss record above the .500 mark on Saturday, September 16 when they travel to Bergen Community College for another GSAC matchup, with an 11 a.m. start.
